New Delhi: On Sunday, the Congress attacked PM Modi's 'booster dose' decision and compared him to Tughlaq. The party accused the central government of playing with people's lives by ignoring the crisis of the Omicron variant. Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala said on Sunday that making things and coming on TV will not heal the wounds of criminal negligence. Surjewala said, "The lives of the people of India are once again being put at risk just before the expected third wave of the corona. The Modi government has been repeatedly showing backs on responsibilities. The lives of Indians have been compromised by repeated changes in policies on corona vaccination and criminal negligence such as glorifying themselves instead of preventing viruses, giving priority to rallies and electoral pieces.''

1- When will 47.95 crore adults get 59.40 crore corona vaccine?
2- By when will 25.69 crore people get an additional 35.70 crore vaccine after the new announcement?
3- If the monthly capacity of vaccine manufacturing companies is only 16.80 crore vaccines per month, then by when 95.10 crore vaccines will be available to the people of India?
4- Why is there no policy of the Modi Government on vaccinating children and youth below the age of 15 years?
5- Why was the figure of persons who died due to the second wave of corona due to criminal negligence of the Government not made public and why compensation was not paid to the family members?
6- The government's behaviour about the crisis looming over the third wave of corona from the Omicron infection is indifferent and the Modi government is a victim of criminal negligence.

Surjewala further said, ''36.50 crore individuals are still not able to get another corona vaccine. It constitutes 35 per cent of the country's population over 18 years. Moreover, according to the facts released by the government, 11.45 crore individuals over the age of 18 have not been able to get a dose of the vaccine. In addition, 22,71,510 healthcare and frontline workers have also not been administered another dose of the vaccine. I mean, 59.40 crore vaccines are yet to be vaccinated.'' Surjewala added, ''59.40 crore vaccines are not available at all. According to the Modi government, 17.74 crore vaccines were available on December 25. Now the question arises as to by when the remaining 41.46 crore vaccines (59.40 crores - 17.74 crores = 41.46 crores) will be present and by what date? India is still ranked 19th in administering both corona vaccines to the people of India, even if we look at the average of other countries in the world. But Modi Ji has not yet answered any of these questions about the future policy.''
