NEW DELHI: Today The opposition party Congress fires gun of questions at saffron BJP ruled Govt that what it believes is the Centre's unprofessional conduct of the meeting between Kulbhushan Jadhav and his kin in Pakistan, and raised questions why the International Court of Justice (ICJ) or the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) wasn't asked to aid in Jadhav-Meet.

Congress talking head Manish Tewari criticized Pakistan's ill-treatment, but also fired questions at the Centre if any ground set of rules were laid down between New Delhi and Islamabad ahead of the Jadhav- meet, who's on death row in Pakistan for alleged spying, with his wife and his mother.

Manish Tewari took his twitter handle and asked questions to Modi-led Govt.

"Pak’s mistreatment of Jadhav’s family unequivocally condemnable but-1.What were ground rules settled between India&Pak about the meeting?2 Knowing Pak’s perfidy fully well why did India not ask ICJ to facilitate meeting through ICRC or any other UN body rather than bilaterally???", He tweeted

The Congress created these questions following Jadhav's family members detailed to the EMA Sushama Swaraj on the bullying and humiliation they experienced at the hands of Pakistan for the duration of their Christmas Day meeting.

A day before, Congress party also called the humiliation of Jadhav's kin by Pakistan "a diplomatic failure" of the Modi- ruled-government and the ministry of external affairs (MEA).

On Wednesday senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily said "The manner in which Kulbhushan Jadhav's family was treated is inhuman. The MEA should have ensured what kind of protocol is arranged for (Jadhav) family. It's a diplomatic failure on the part of our MEA and country," as quoted by TOI.

He added that external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj or PM Narendra Modi should have talked about the subject with their counterparts in Pakistan ahead of Jadhav’s Meet with mother and wife in Islamabad.
