Guwahati: Considering the assembly elections in Assam, the Congress party has started trying to strengthen its land in the state. Though the voices raised about the citizenship law may have been suppressed due to the corona epidemic, Congress is leaving no stone unturned to raise the voice of the suppressed voice. There are only a few days left in the Assam assembly elections. In such a situation, citizenship law has become a big issue there.

The Congress Party in the state has come into action after the statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Assam. Rahul Gandhi had promised not to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) after coming to power, after which the Assam Congress unit called on the workers to collect 50 lakh 'Gamcha' (50 Lakh Gamosa) against this law.

This campaign of Congress to collect 50 lakh gamble from the whole state against the citizenship law has started. The Congress's Gamchha campaign has been supported by college students, entrepreneurs, senior citizens, and private sector employees, among others, and supporters in this order handed over a message against CAA and with their signature.
