Chandigarh: BJP spokesperson NV Subhash on Sunday said Congress leaders are being humiliated by his party in every state over the resignation of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Subhash said, "All Congress leaders in every Congress-ruled state are being humiliated by the indifferent behaviour of the party high command.''

Subhash said, "The high command is only concerned about the family rule. Not of a 135-year-old party. Slowly All ministers and party workers are leaving the party due to incompatibility of the Congress.'' Subhash also said that the Congress party is not going to get a single seat anywhere in Punjab or UP in the upcoming assembly elections. "BJP will win the next assembly elections with a clear majority. Because we are also developing a lot in the Congress Territories.''

The same BJP spokesperson further said that Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should step down as party leaders. He said, "They should close this family business and give other leaders an opportunity to run the party. Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh resigned on Saturday just before the Congress Legislature Party meeting. He met Governor Banwari Lal Purohit and resigned. His entire cabinet has also resigned from the posts.'' Captain Amarinder Singh spoke to the media after submitting his resignation. He said, "I spoke to the Congress President and told him that I would resign."
