Lucknow: The Congress party in Uttar Pradesh has demanded the CM Yogi Adityanath government to form a farmers commission, so that the problems of the farmers can be brought to the fore. Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chairman Ajay Kumar Lallu said, "The state government should make a new farmer policy to provide a special budget for farmers and immediately set up a farmers commission, so that farmers can get relief."

He has said that "proper construction and management of gaushalas should be ensured in every village. At present, farmers of many districts have committed suicide. Many farmers have died due to the attack of bulls." Lallu said, "The state government should provide compensation to the farmers suffering from stray cattle. Farmers should be given a maintenance allowance. In three years the stray animals have destroyed the crops in a big way. It also has to be compensated to the government needed."

The Congress president of Uttar Pradesh said, "The state government is bent on destroying the crops of farmers by feeding them in the name of bovine protection. Troubled farmers are forced to imprison and display holiday animals in the buildings of government schools and offices. "
