Mallikarjun Kharge furious over Mamata

New Delhi: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee had recently made a big statement saying there was no UPA. Now, the Leader of opposition in the Upper House and veteran Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday said that the Congress aims to defeat the BJP but some are helping the BJP to remain in power at the Centre. The Congress leader said Mamata Banerjee's allegation that Rahul Gandhi is nowhere to be seen is wrong. Congress is raising all issues and fighting everywhere. Our goal is to defeat the BJP, but some people are helping this party. Mallikarjun Kharge further said that we tried to bring the Trinamool Congress (TMC) together on many social and political issues. The Opposition should not divide or fight among themselves. We have to fight unitedly against the BJP.

Recently, Mamata Banerjee had attacked the Congress party saying that she is not able to fight as strongly as she should against the BJP. He said no UPA now means united progressive alliance. Mamata Banerjee had said that if I am meeting people in the country, what is the problem? There are some parties and people who do nothing. They spend half the time abroad. They don't do anything.
