New Delhi: Congress MP Manish Tewari has shared an article on social media, titled 'Rohingyas are a security threat: BJP.' To this Manish Tewari said that if all illegal migrants are a threat to the security of any country, then what to say to the thousands of undocumented Indians living around America, Europe and other developed countries? He further said that the tragedy of the Rohingya people is heart-wrenching. They (Rohingya) are on the run from persecution, rape and genocide.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, while addressing a press conference on August 17, said that Rohingya infiltrators are a threat to India's security. Arvind Kejriwal is doing the politics of appeasement keeping national security at bay. Not long ago, such media reports came, in which the facts were there to mislead the public. The Ministry of Home Affairs has clarified that. He has said that the Modi government has a clear policy that there will be no compromise on national security. Rohingya infiltrators are a threat to the integrity of our country.

Bhatia had said that the law of our country says that Rohingyas will be deported and this jurisdiction belongs to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Why was it that in a meeting on July 29, which was led by the Chief Secretary of Delhi, a hasty decision was taken that all these infiltrators would be shifted to the houses being built for EWS. The Ministry of Home Affairs has clarified that the Ministry has not given any order to the Delhi Government to give EWS flats to Rohingya infiltrators living illegally.
