Amritsar: Congress Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi is currently in Rajasthan. The yatra will enter Punjab in the first week of January. But, Congress has some suspicions about the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab. On Monday, some big leaders of the Punjab Congress met CM Bhagwant Mann. Since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in power in Punjab, Congress leaders met CM Mann and demanded that the yatra be conducted pleasingly in the state.

A delegation of Congress leaders led by Punjab unit chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring met Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday and demanded that Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' be concluded properly, the report said. The yatra is expected to reach Punjab in the first week of January. MP Ravneet Singh Bittu and former Assembly Speaker Rana KP Singh were present on the occasion.

Warring said that he met CM Mann before the Bharat Jodo Yatra to be entered in Punjab next month. He requested the CM to protect the general public from any kind of inconvenience and administrative support for a smooth journey. He said that Punjab Congress was very excited about the Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state. Congress leaders in the state have made all preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Bharat Jodo Yatra is expected to start from Fatehgarh or Rajpura in Punjab.
