Congress wrote letter to CM Yogi in Corona crisis, demanding religious site to be opened

Lucknow: Congress Metropolitan President Mukesh Singh Chauhan has written a letter to the state CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday to open the closed temple religious institutions all over Uttar Pradesh due to the Corona epidemic. The letter said that just as the central-state governments have issued orders to open shops for essential things, in the same way now all the big and big, monasteries, temples, churches, mosques gurdwaras should also be also open for devotees. 

Mukesh Chauhan has written in his letter, "India is a faith-oriented country. In the Sanatan tradition, people have such faith that the suffering of the people is overcome by worship. But the closure of the temple does not make people pray to their worship. So, major religious places should be allowed to open with social distancing in full compliance with the lockdown."

Chauhan said that tunnel sanitizer machine should be used like government offices at major religious places. He said that while following the lockdown, liquor shops can be opened in the state, in the same way the temples, mosques, gurudwaras, churches etc. of millions of people should be opened in full compliance with the rules of lockdown.
