New Delhi: A record 88 lakh people were vaccinated against corona vaccine on International Yoga Day in the country on June 21. The Congress party has now raised questions on the record vaccination. Veteran Congress leader and former central P Chidambaram on Tuesday claimed that the vaccine was deposited on Sunday and a world record of vaccination was set on Monday but the next day the old situation again remained same.

Former Finance Minister Chidambaram slammed the Centre saying the Modi government may get a Nobel Prize in the field of medicine. Chidambaram tweeted, "Hoarding on Sunday, vaccinating on Monday and limping back on Tuesday. That's the secret behind the world "record" of vaccination of one day". Chidambaram further wrote, 'I am sure this "feat" will find a place in the Guinness Book of Records'.

Let us tell you that the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday said that India has achieved the "Historic achievement" of administering 88.09 lakh corona virus vaccines in a day on June 21 and about 64 percent doses have been given in rural areas. The Congress has hit out at the Central government over the same.
