Mirzapur: The Congress has expressed displeasure over the killing of 10 people in the land dispute at Sonbhadra. On Saturday, the party delegation led by Congress leader Pramod Tiwari met Governor Ram Naik at Raj Bhavan. The Congress delegation also submitted a memorandum to Governor Ram Naik.

Talking to reporters after meeting Governor Ram Naik, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said that the Yogi government of UP does not want any victims to shed tears. What is happening is unconstitutional and a violation of democracy. It seems that the Yogi government of UP is putting an undeclared emergency to hide its failures and weaknesses. He said Congress General Secretary Priyanka Vadra was traveling peacefully by two vehicles to Sonbhadra.

Pramod Tiwari said Priyanka Vadra was stopped in a non-constitutional manner. When the police were asked to stop him, he was told that there was an order from above. The administration later referred to Section 144. Pramod Tiwari said that when Priyanka Vadra told the police that Section 144 allowed people to go with less than 5 people. I can go. However, they were stopped from leaving. Pramod Tiwari alleged that this was collusion between the administration and the killers. Nothing has happened since 1955 when the government came in.
