Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray, who resigned as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has bid farewell by delivering an emotional speech without facing a majority test. It is being said that he has tried to project his image as a man living beyond the game of power and sticking to principles. However, his decision has been questioned by the Congress leader whom Uddhav thanked in his farewell speech.

In fact, former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has questioned Uddhav Thackeray's resignation, saying he does not want to fight. Talking to the media, he said, "Uddhav Thackeray should have come to the assembly without a Facebook live and had to resign while keeping his word.'' Chavan has also raised questions about Uddhav Thackeray's leadership ability.

Chavan said Uddhav did not know how many people were upset. He did not come out of the shock of the rebellion. He kept saying how many of my men had cheated on him. He had no idea what was going on under him. It's a question of leadership skills. If he had given any other option to stop the BJP, we would have been ready. Prithviraj Chavan said, "Now Uddhav Thackeray has no desire to fight.''
