New Delhi: The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected BJP government of Uttar Pradesh has been kept on March 25. In this, speculations are being made that Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi will also be involved. Meanwhile, Congress veteran Rashid Alvi said on Saturday that party's interim president Sonia Gandhi should not take part in the function as it may send a wrong message to the minority community.
According to sources, besides Sonia Gandhi, possible invitees from opposition parties include Congress party's national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, SP president Akhilesh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati. Alvi further said that not only Sonia Gandhi but also Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi Vadra should not attend Adityanath's swearing-in ceremony.
Rashid Alvi said that CM Adityanath has only spread hatred in Uttar Pradesh in the last five years during his tenure. They have won the election because of 80 vs 20 slogans. He was only talking about running a 'bulldozer'. Therefore, any leader who believes in India's tradition, values ​​or culture should not attend Adityanath's swearing-in ceremony.
