New Delhi: Salman Khurshid, who has criticized his own party over the current state of Congress, has once again called for the need to make Rahul Gandhi the national president of the party. He has also  attacked the remarks of other party leaders regarding his recent statement. He has said that those who do not know me well, do not give me any advice.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi's resignation, Salman Khurshid said recently that after the Lok Sabha elections, we did not even review together and our leader Rahul Gandhi left us. Khurshid had also said that the present situation of the party is similar, in that case it is not possible for the Congress to win in the upcoming assembly elections. After his statement, party spokesperson Pawan Kheda had said that instead of making such comments people should highlight the mistakes of the BJP government. Congress leader Rashid Alvi and Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary also raised objections to Khurshid's statement. Rashid Alvi called him a lamp to set the house on fire, while Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary instructed him to express his opinion within the party instead of speaking outside.

After the reaction of Congress leaders, Salman Khurshid has given his reply by writing a Facebook post. Khurshid has said that those who do not know him, do not give them advice. Khurshid said on the remarks of the leaders of his own party that I am surprised that I am being advised by those who know very little about my personal loyalty and political strategy. So I want to tell them forever that trust and loyalty are related to personal choice.
