New Delhi: The Punjab Congress has been in a tizzy ever since the release of the second list of candidates. This time, her husband Jasmail Singh Laddi was seen crying in front of the cameras over not getting the ticket of party MLA Satkar Kaur from Ferozepur Rural seat. Jasmail said that congress always takes the sacrifice of the poor. He said, "I have small children, the Congress is not taking pity on them either, I have worked very hard, the party should see it.''

In fact, the Congress, which claims to have fielded the highest number of women candidates this time, has fielded Ashu Bangar, who came to the party from the AAP, by cutting off the card of Satkar Kaur from the Ferozepur rural assembly seat. Ashu was also given a ticket by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from the same seat, but he resigned from the party making serious allegations against the AAP leaders. However, after this, Punjab CM Charanjit Channi inducted him into the Congress and declared him as the candidate before the party's decision. The Punjab Congress on Tuesday (January 25, 2022) gave a ticket to Anshu from the Ferozepur seat in the list released late at night.

Earlier, three leaders of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) also looked emotional on camera due to not getting tickets. A video of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Javed Rhine crying after being denied a ticket in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections had gone viral on social media. At the same time, Imran Masood, who switched over to the SP from the Congress, and Arshad Rana of the BSP also got emotional due to not getting tickets.
