New Delhi: Congress veteran Shivraj Patil is once again in discussion after a long time, but he has created problems for Congress with his statement. In fact, Patil had said in a program that even in the Gita, Lord Krishna had taught Arjuna about Jihad. The BJP has become an attacker regarding this and is demanding an answer by calling the Congress anti-Hindu. Let us tell you that, at a time when Rahul Gandhi is out on Bharat Jodo Yatra and is also going to temples, at that time this type of controversy is going to create new problems for the Congress.

Referring to PM Narendra Modi's visit to Kedarnath, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that those people who see the message of Jihad in the Gita cannot understand its importance. However, in the meantime, Shivraj Patil, while clarifying his statement, lashed out at the media on the contrary. To a journalist, the Congress leader said that you keep quiet, he is not talking to you. After this, he told another journalist that you people are talking of jihad. You think that the message that Shri Krishna has given to Arjuna, would you call it Jihad? Will not say I am saying the same thing.

Let us tell you that on Thursday, Shivraj Patil had said, 'It is said that there is a lot of discussion of Jihad in Islam. The talk of jihad comes when, even after doing some work with the mind, the other person does not understand, then it is said that the use of power is done. It is not only in the Quran. Even in the Mahabharata, which is a part of the Gita, Shri Krishna also taught jihad to Arjuna.' He says that a similar mention is found in the Bible also. Shivraj Patil made this statement during the release of a book on Thursday (October 20), but it increased the trouble for Congress.

Shivraj Patil also said that Christians have also written about Jihad. If after understanding everything, someone is coming with a weapon, then you cannot run away from it. You can't even call it Jihad. This should not happen, there should not be a talk of explaining with weapons. On this statement of Shivraj Patil, BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla has attacked the Congress party and termed it as a 'use of vote bank'. While tweeting one of his videos, he said 'This hatred of Hindus is not a coincidence, but an experiment of vote bank. This has been done deliberately to polarize the vote bank ahead of the Gujarat elections.' Earlier, 'Janeudhari' Rahul Gandhi has also said a lot about Hindutva.
