New Delhi: In our diverse country, India, where there is a unique feature and its own food, samosas have a distinct identity in north India. It is often jokingly said that if not got samosas, there will be a war. Now this joke has become a reality in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, Congress leaders in Prayagraj really fought over samosas among themselves.

The case dates back to October 6, 2021, when Congress leaders and activists were protesting against the arrest of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and Lakhimpur violence. Congress workers had disrupted traffic after which police detained all of them and took them to the police line. Prayagraj Congress secretary Irshad Ullah had brought samosas to feed party workers at the police station. Meanwhile, he noticed that party district spokesperson Haseeb Ahmed took three samosas, which angered him. The matter escalated to such an increase that the two started abusing each other with dirty abuses from their mother and sister. News24 shared the video of the incident on Twitter.

Congress General Secretary Nafis Anwar tried to defuse the situation and warned leaders that they are not at home. Even then, they did not stop and continued to fight. The police then intervened and cooled the matter down. In the case, Superintendent of Police City Dinesh Kumar Singh said that Congress workers were protesting on the road due to which they were taken into custody by the police. While they were in the police line, some of them started a scuffle over something. an FIR has been registered against them. To the extent that the Congress party itself has also supported the party workers who fought over Samosa.
