Bhopal: Dengue menace is on the rise in Madhya Pradesh. The number of dengue cases is increasing day by day. Now, amidst all this, former Minister and Congress MLA Jaivardhan Singh has succumbed to dengue. According to the information received, his report has come out positive after which doctors have advised him to rest at home for a week. On the other hand, Jaivardhan Singh himself has confirmed that the dengue report is positive. Congress MLA Jaivardhan Singh, son of Raghavgarh assembly constituency and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, is said to have had a high fever for the past 2-3 days.

After this, he underwent a dengue test at Chirayu Hospital in the capital Bhopal after which his report has come out positive. Now he says, 'My dengue report has come positive. Doctors have advised me to rest for a week. By the grace of Lord, I will soon recover'' Let me tell you all that Jaivardhan Singh was on a visit to Bundelkhand, Gwalior-Chambal some time ago. Let us also inform all of you that after corona outbreak in the state, dengue is also wreaking havoc. At present, the number of patients seems to be increasing every day.

At present, dengue has crossed the 3500 mark in the state, with the highest number of patients in Mandsaur. The dengue figure is said to have crossed 1,000. There are 300 dengue cases in the capital Bhopal, 350 in Indore, around 500 in Jabalpur.
