Indeed, Jagga Reddy stepped into politics with TRS in 2004. In the later years, he separated away and joined Congress. From that point, forward TRS and Jagga Reddy were on a war of words. However, the 2018 election results have changed the conditions between them. In the first assembly sessions, Jagga Reddy had requested for a medical college in his constituency and to this CM KCR reacted positively.

He started the career as a councilor in BJP and then became municipal chairman. He won as TRS MLA in 2004, left the party to join the Congress. He was re-elected in 2009 but had lost in 2014. He contested in 2014 by-poll from  Medak being BJP candidate and lost. He again joined Congress in 2015
After this session, Jagga Reddy had declared that he would not reprimand TRS party or KCR but rather focused on Siddipet MLA Harish Rao over water allocations to his supporters. At a certain point of time, he praised CM KCR to the sky, at the same time lashing out at Telangana Congress and its leadership. The T'Congress count in the assembly is getting reduced with each day passing.
