Hindus know that our way of worship is not the same in different parts of the country. What one offers to the Goddess tells about the devotee more than the Goddess. Shashi Tharoor further said that we have reached such a situation that if we say something about someone on a public platform, then someone will be hurt. It is certain that Mahua did not want to humiliate anyone. Shashi Tharoor further said, "I appeal to all to lighten the atmosphere a little bit, leave it to them how one believes in religion.''
