Congress reaches 'Supreme Court' against agriculture bill, demands withdrawal

New Delhi: The issue of street protests against the agriculture bill has now reached the top court. Congress MP from Kerala Tien Pratapan has challenged the agriculture law in the country's largest court. A writ petition has been filed by parliament to withdraw the bill relating to farmers. TN Pratapan's lawyer Ashish George, advocate James P Thomas and lawyer Cr Rekhesh Sharma will appear before the apex court.

On the other hand, Delhi Police has detained 5 persons in connection with the tractor fire near India Gate. They have been identified as Manjot Singh, Raman Singh, Rahul, Sahib and Sumit.
