New Delhi: Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi has reached Rajasthan to celebrate her birthday. From Jaipur, Sonia Gandhi reached Sawai Madhopur, where she will stay at Shergarh resort in Ranthambore. Her daughter and Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has also reached Ranthambore by road. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi will also take a rest from the Bharat Jodo Yatra and join Sonia Gandhi at her birthday party for a day.

Meanwhile, Congress MPs in the Lok Sabha were hoping that Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi would lead a meeting of party MPs in Parliament on Friday and a message was also sent to some MPs that she could attend the meeting, but at the last moment this changed and Sonia Gandhi left to celebrate her birthday.
