Maharashtra: Controversy has been going on for a long time to change the name of Aurangabad. Now the Chief Minister of Maharashtra has done something that everyone is shocked. Recently CM Uddhav has described Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar in the official Twitter handle. In one of his tweets, he has written the Sambhajinagar people should fulfil the dream of their own house instead of Aurangabad. Yesterday, he mentioned Sambhajinagar from the Twitter handle, on which the Congress has objected today.

Recently, Congress state president Balasaheb Thorat raised a strong objection to the name of Aurangabad city as Sambhajinagar from the official Twitter handle of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He said, "He will once again put the role of Congress party in front of CM Uddhav Thackeray." When he was asked, 'Why did the CMO office not delete the tweet even after your objections, then it was said that this tweet must have happened by mistake and they will talk over why they did not delete it.

To this, Congress leader Thorat said, 'The party feels that the progress and development of the people cannot be changed by name. However, he denied claims by BJP leaders that there was a rift between coalition partners. On December 6, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had requested the Central Government to issue a notification to rename Aurangabad High Base after Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Since then, this issue has been in discussion.
