Gajwel: Addressing a Dalit and tribal Dandora public meeting in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar's constituency, Congress Committee President A Revanth Reddy slammed KCR for not fulfilling the promise of CM post to Dalits, 12 per cent reservation to Muslims and education and employment. Raised question on increasing ST quota. He also listed the "anti-people policies" of the government apart from the rising crime in the state.

The leader alleged that KCR and his family protected their land under the Kaleshwaram project and thousands of farmers had lost their livelihood after the government acquired land for irrigation projects. Announcing that the party would launch 'Nirudyoga Dharma Yuddha' (unemployment struggle) from October 2, Reddy called upon the youth to join the fight for jobs. He demanded to increase the Arogyasree limit to Rs 5 lakh and start full reimbursement scheme.

Reddy said the funds earmarked under the SC and ST sub-scheme were not spent for seven years. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that KCR caused the plight of SC and ST communities. He said that "Telangana celebrated 17 September as Liberation Day. The CM's family ruined Telangana by looting natural and financial resources." The TPCC issued a charge sheet against the TRS government, alleging that it cheated the people by making false promises during the seven-year KCR regime.
