Shashi Tharoor and Pawan Bansal have so far obtained nomination forms from the CEA, as per CEA chairman Madhusudan Mistry's statement on Tuesday. In a meeting with Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday, senior Congressman Kamal Nath, whose name had also been mentioned, stated that he did not want to lead the party and preferred to continue serving the party in Madhya Pradesh.
