Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government started distributing Ayurvedic decoctions to increase the immunity of people in the battle against the Rona virus epidemic. In response to a question in the Legislative Assembly on behalf of the government, it has been informed that in the Corona era, the decoction of more than 30 crores rupees has been distributed among the people. The opposition Congress has questioned the government, raising questions on it. At the same time, the BJP has asked how Congress can justify the expenditure incurred on the health of the people.
Jitu Patwari, who was president of the media department of the Congress and a minister in the Kamal Nath led government, had asked questions in the assembly as to how much the Madhya Pradesh government had cost to make and distribute the decoction by November 2020. Patwari also questioned how many packets of decoction have been distributed in the state till November 2020 and how many decoctions were there.
While answering the question of Congress MLA Patwari, Minister of State for AYUSH, Ramkishore Kavre, while giving information in the Legislative Assembly, said that till November 2020, the Madhya Pradesh government has distributed a decoction of Rs 30 crore 64 lakh 48 thousand 308. During this time, about 6 crores 3 lakh 94 thousand packets of 50 grams decoction have been distributed.
