Delhi Election: 'Shatru' and Sidhu to seek votes for Congress, list of star campaigners released

New Delhi: Congress has released the list of its star campaigners for campaigning in the Delhi Assembly elections. Former cricketer and Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu has also been included in this list. Sidhu, who has been marginalized in the state's politics after differences with Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, has been entrusted with a huge responsibility in the Delhi elections.

Among the list of star campaigners, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are also named. The party's interim president Sonia and former national president Rahul Gandhi are also named in the list of Congress's star campaigners. The names of Shatrughan Sinha, Udit Raj and Kirti Azad, who left the BJP during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections along with Navjot Singh Sidhu and joined Congress, are also in the list of star campaigners.

Along with former MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sharmistha Mukherjee has also been given a place in this list. Along with popular faces, the names of veteran Congress leaders are also in the list of star campaigners. Kapil Sibal, former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat are also in the list of star campaigners. Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh, and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot will also be seen seeking votes for the candidates for the party.
