Dehradun: State media in charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Manveer Singh Chauhan, said that on the viral video of fake postal ballot, the Congress has tarnished the image of the Army and questioned the conscience of the elderly voters and employees. For this, Congress should apologise to the people of the country and the state.

At the same time, the BJP media in charge said in a statement that the reply has been sent to the Election Commission on behalf of the Kumaon Regiment. This has dented the intention of Congress. The official reply of the Kumaon Regiment has made it clear that Congress was disrespecting the brave soldiers by describing the viral video as that of the Army.

The same BJP has always had full faith in the Indian Army and constitutional institutions. His reply to the Election Commission of the Kumaon Regiment made it clear that the viral video was not of the election process held in any of the military institutions in Pithoragarh. Congress should take responsibility for the entire episode and apologise publicly. He said that another lie of the opposition has been caught after seeing the defeat in the elections. In which the Election Commission has termed as unfair the allegations of not sharing the list of postal voters with the opposition candidates on the basis of the report of the returning officers.
