Divya Spandana on Sunday made fun of PM Modi saying that he assumed that cloud cover and rain would prevent Pakistani radars from detecting Indian fighter plane.

While giving an interview to prominent news daily, PM Modi revealed for the first time that there were confusion and doubt regarding the launch of air strikes given the weather that day. However, he gave the go-ahead thinking that cloudy cover would prevent Pakistani radars from detecting Indian fighter jets.

Talking about Balakot air strikes, PM Modi disclosed that he reviewed the preparations for Balakot airstrikes at around 9:30 pm on February 25, then again at 12 midnight and it was during that time experts pointed out that weather had become bad and even contemplated re-scheduling the strikes.

To this PM said, he had dual thoughts in mind - first the secrecy of the mission, second that there are clouds and it could benefit the IAF jets from escaping the Pakistani radars.

As per reports, BJP twitter handle also tweeted the related video but later deleted it following ridicule on social media. However, there has been no official word from the party if any tweet has been deleted.

India had carried out the Balakot air strikes on February 25 targeting Jaish-e-Mohammed's training camps in Pakistan in response to the dastardly Pulwama attack on February 14. At least 40 CRPF personnel had lost their lives in the terror attack.

The whole air strike was applauded by the citizens of India as a major reply to Pakistan’s wrong intentions.
