New Delhi: In the Galwan valley of Ladakh in eastern India, there was a fierce clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers last month, in which 20 Indian soldiers including one officer were martyred. On Thursday, Congress asked questions to PM Modi about the situation in Galwan Valley. Congress asked PM Modi if a buffer zone was being built in its own area and the claim on Galwan Valley was being weakened.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala posted four questions to PM Modi amid reports of the Indian Army retreating into the Galwan Valley. Surjewala tweeted, "Dear Prime Minister, 1. Are you building a buffer zone in our area itself? 2. Are you pushing our forces back 2.4 km in our territory? 3. Are you compromising on PP-14 being Indian territory? 4. Are you weakening India's claim in the Galwan Valley? India wants answers. "

On 15 June, there was a violent clash between India and the Chinese army near Petroling Point 14, in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed. In the agreement between the corps commanders, it was agreed to create a buffer zone of at least 1.5 kilometers on either side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in these areas.
