Shillong: Congress veteran luihinjo Falero has admitted that there is a need to introspect the state units of the Congress in the North-East and work on their strengths and weaknesses. He has talked about organizational change in the party. The Secretary-General in charge of North East Affairs of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Falero has said that the Congress will come up with an action plan and a road map to carry out restructuring programs in 6,000 villages of Meghalaya in the next 15 days.

The Secretary General in charge of North East Affairs of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Falero has claimed that the country is going through a difficult phase. Because the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government at the Centre has not taken any steps to improve the financial and employment scenario.

Falero said, "Congress is going through a difficult phase, we have to do it." We are introspection to know our strength and weaknesses. Falero said this during a meeting held on Friday with the leaders of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), party MLAs and activists. After the embarrassing performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is constantly engaged in introspection.
