Congress hands over big responsibility to Gehlot-Pilot for Gujarat-Himachal assembly elections

Jaipur:  Assembly elections are due in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh this year, for which the Congress has started preparations. The party has appointed senior Congress leader and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot as the senior observer of Gujarat, while former deputy CM Sachin Pilot has been appointed as the observer of Himachal Pradesh by the party.

The Congress has appointed Ashok Gehlot as its senior observer for the Gujarat Assembly elections as well as Chhattisgarh Health Minister and Congress leaders TS Singh Deo and Milind Deora as observers. At the same time, the party has given the responsibility of senior observer to Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel for Himachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh, former Deputy CMs of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot and Pratap Singh have been made observers for the assembly elections.  

Let us tell you that by the end of this year, assembly elections are proposed in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. In such a situation, Congress has started tightening its gear from now on. The party has given important responsibilities to its senior leaders and chief ministers in the elections. At the same time, former Himachal Pradesh BJP unit president Khimi Ram Sharma has also resigned from the saffron party today and joined the Congress.
