Chandigarh: The Haryana Government's Manohar Khattar government, which was the target of the agricultural law, the farmers' movement, may face a big challenge from today. Actually, the state assembly session is starting from today, which can be a ruckus. Actually, Congress is going to bring a no-confidence motion against the Khattar government in this session.
This is the budget session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, although the budget is to be presented on 10 March. In this session, the Haryana government may also bring an anti-conversion bill, on which everyone's eyes are fixed. This bill is being linked to the bill brought against Love Jihad in UP. If a no-confidence motion is brought against the Khattar government, will it be able to survive in the House? There are a total of 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly, out of which two seats are vacant.
According to the number game, the Khattar government will have to mobilize the support of 45 MLAs. The government formed with the support of BJP-JJP and Independent MLAs had the support of 55 MLAs, however, 8 MLAs have expressed their displeasure with the government. 6 MLAs of JJP are against the agricultural law and two independent MLAs supporting it have also left it. In this way, 8 MLAs have turned against the Khattar government, after which there are currently 47 in support of the Khattar government.
