New Delhi: The Congress has made a comprehensive plan for the entire year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India's independence. The Congress will celebrate its festival parallel to the Modi government's 'Amrit Mahotsav of Independence' programmes at the Centre, but even in these programmes, the entire focus of the Congress will be on farmers and dalits.

In fact, in view of the upcoming assembly elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is trying hard to find its lost political existence. Whether it is farmers, price rise or oil prices, the Congress leadership has become aggressive against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central and State Governments. At the same time, she doesn't want to miss any opportunity to make direct contact with people. That is why all the top Congress leaders are seen on the ground in Uttar Pradesh.

The Congress programme will continue till August 15 next year. A special committee has been constituted by Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi to outline the programme, convened by BK Hariprasad. The panel is headed by former PM Dr Manmohan Singh and has 11 members. Through this programme, the Congress will try to spread the party's contribution to its history and freedom struggle directly to the people.
