Congress to hold protest across country for two days amid Lakhimpur Kheri violence

Lucknow: Farmers and political parties have been outraged since the tragic death of farmers in Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh. Congress has now issued an order to protest across the country for two days. The Congress has directed party leaders and MPs to protest for two days across the country over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is on her way to meet the affected farmer families, is still a house arrest in Sitapur.

In fact, the death of eight people in violence that erupted in Lakhimpur in UP following clashes between farmers and the minister's son has heated up the situation across the country. All opposition parties are trying to take political advantage of the issue. In which Congress is at the forefront. Priyanka Gandhi was arrested by Uttar Pradesh police on her way to Lakhimpur. Congressmen have alleged that the police administration has arrested Priyanka Gandhi after misbehaving with her at the behest of the Yogi government.
