Congress to now preparing for new 'camp' after Chintan Shivir, will brainstorm again in June

Udaipur: After the three-day 'Chintan Shivir' of the Congress which concluded at Udaipur in Rajasthan, the party is now preparing for a new 'camp'. It is being told that this camp will be at the state level, where the Udaipur manifesto will be brainstormed. This was disclosed by Congress General Secretary and spokesperson Randeep Surjewala. General Secretary KC Venugopal has also issued letters to secretaries and in-charges to the states in this regard.

Surjewala said, "On June 1 and 2, the general secretary and in-charge will organize a two-day workshop which will be attended by our MPs, MLAs, MPs and MLAs, district Congress committee presidents, Pradesh Congress Committee office bearers and senior party leaders. The two-day camp will have a brainstorming on the Udaipur manifesto. "Similarly, a day-long camp will be held on June 11 in district Congress committees.''

Venugopal wrote in his letter, "All AICC General Secretaries and in-charges are requested to spend their entire two days in the state level workshop. The agenda for the state and district level programme will be briefed soon.'' According to media reports, a massive programme will be organised at congress district headquarters to celebrate the 75th Independence Day on August 15. It is reported that a committee on political affairs will be set up at the state level, which will meet once every month.
