Shimla: It has been confirmed that Congress will form the government in Himachal Pradesh. For this, instructions have been given to all the MLAs to come to the Congress office immediately after the victory. From there, preparations are on to take them to Chandigarh. According to sources, Congress may take all its MLAs who won the elections out of the state, so that they can be kept away from contact with BJP leaders.
It is believed that Congress may hide its MLAs in Chhattisgarh or Rajasthan. According to sources, the Mayfair resort in Raipur has also been booked. However, till now nothing has been clarified about it. If party sources are to be believed, the high command has appointed Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda as observers for Himachal Pradesh. Both the leaders are going to Shimla along with Himachal Congress in-charge Rajeev Shukla. Congress National General Secretary Vikramaditya Singh said that BJP is a messed up party, but we have learned a lot from our mistakes. Pratibha Singh is the CM face. Before this, there will be a discussion in the Legislature Party. The final decision will be of the party's high command.
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on the question of bringing newly elected Himachal MLAs to Raipur said that he will not bring them here, but will definitely keep his colleagues safe because BJP can do anything. It is being told that CM Baghel can also go to Shimla today to meet the victorious Congress MLAs and give them instructions.
