LUCKNOW: On the occasion of International Women's Day on Tuesday, the Congress will hold an all-woman march in Lucknow.

Ajay Kumar Lallu, president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC), stated, "Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will lead the march, in which all-women party office bearers and others will participate." "The march will begin at the 1090 crossing and end at the Uda Devi statue near the National Botanical Garden," he said. According to the party, approximately one lakh women from all districts will be seen on Lucknow's roads.

"Women from other fields, in addition to members of Congress, will march. Lawyers, teachers, activists, and actors are also expected to participate "Lallu stated.

According to a Congress spokesperson, the party's "Ladki hoon, lad sakti hoon" campaign is not limited to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He went on to say that the party would continue its campaign for women's empowerment.
