Lucknow: The Congress has started rebuilding its old caste equation to end the three-decade power drought in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, the eyes of the Congress are on the Muslim vote bank of the Samajwadi Party (SP), to which the Congress is now going to take the support of the Maulana-Molvi after the mosque. The Congress will distribute the Sankalp Patra outside the mosques after Friday prayers to take its 16-point Sankalp Patra to the homes of Muslims.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress is now preparing to open a front against the SP for Muslim votes. In the 2022 UP elections, the Congress is playing every bet so that the Muslim core vote bank of the SP can be dented. Under this strategy, the Congress has selectively included such issues in the 16-point resolution letter, which is going to put the SP government in the dock on the issue of Muslims. Congress is ready to do whatever it takes to take back its old Muslim vote bank, which can cause political damage to the SP. The biggest effort of the Congress under this strategy is to expose the SP to the Muslim masses on the issues of Muslims.

Congress's 16-point resolution letter:-

1- If the government is formed, the cases registered in the anti-CAA and NRC movement will be rendered and compensation will be given.
2- Law will be made against mob lynching like the Congress government of Rajasthan.
3- Weavers will be given electricity at a flat rate and the spinning mills set up during Congress times will be restarted.
4- Rs 2,350 crore released for weavers in Dr. Manmohan Singh government will be spent.
5- In the SP government, the tanneries of the bandh will be started again.
6- Maulana Azad Chhatravas will be opened for Muslim students in every district.
7- Scholarship will be given to Muslim students.
8- Madrasa modernization, pressure will be exerted on the central government to pay the outstanding salary of teachers.
9- The rigging of Waqf properties in the last 30 years will be investigated and the guilty will be punished severely.
10- A separate Pasmanda Commission will be constituted for the development of the Pasmanda sections.
11- A member will be nominated in the Legislative Council from that class to raise the voice of the artisan class permanently in the House.
12- The culprits will be punished after conducting a judicial inquiry into all the big and small riots that took place in the government of Akhilesh Yadav.
13- The culprits will be punished by taking action on the report of Mathur Commission constituted to investigate the riots in Kanpur in 1992.
14- Unani Medical College will be opened in each division.
15- Special camps will be organized for recruitment in the state police force in Muslim dominated areas to develop confidence in the Muslim community.
16- Under the Uttar Pradesh Cow Slaughter Prevention Act, the cases imposed on innocent people, which have been rejected by the High Court, will be provided compensation.

Let us tell you that the Congress is out of power in Uttar Pradesh for three decades and only SP-BSP have been in power. The Muslim voter of the state has been the traditional voter of the Congress since independence till the 90s, due to which the Congress has been sitting in power. The political equation of Congress has been broken in UP due to the politics of Mandal and Kandal, in which Brahmin voters went to BJP, Dalits are with BSP, while the first choice of Muslims became SP and then Mayawati and Congress lost their vote bank.
