Kothagudem: The names of about half a dozen leaders are appearing in the party circles for the post of Kothagudem district president. The restructuring process of the party's new committees headed by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao was decided to be completed by the end of this month. Among them, the name of an old leader More Bhaskar Rao is prominently for the post of District President, who is aspiring for this post. 

He joined TRS in the year 2001 in the presence of KCR and since then he has served the party in various positions as state secretary, district secretary and Kothagudem city president. Apart from this, many more leaders have started lobbying for this post. The competition in the district is between the old and the new party entrants. On the other hand, names of seniors like District Librarian Dindigala Rajendra and Zilla Parishad Vice President K Chandrasekhar Rao are also competing for the post, both of whom served as District President in Khammam district. 

Among the newcomers are the director of DCC Bank, T Brahmaiah, who joined the party in the last Parliament elections, an educationist, JVS Chowdhury, who joined the TRS in 2013, and V Raghavendra Rao, son of Kothagudem MLA V Venkateshwara Rao, to the post. is said to be inclined to. According to party sources, TRS workers are of the opinion that the post of District President should be given to any old member so that the party's base can be strengthened in the coming days. Many people have shared their views with the party's working president KT Rama Rao in this regard.
