Raipur: A 48-year-old policeman shot himself with his service revolver at the Bharatiya Janata Party office premises in Chhattisgarh's Raipur on Wednesday. Which made him die on the spot. Because of this, he was on duty. A senior police officer said that head constable Rajkumar Netam was posted in the 4th battalion of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces. His duty was at the BJP office in the Ekatma complex under the Maudhapara police station area.

That's where he shot himself. He said he was a resident of the Kanker district. He said that on receiving the news of the incident, senior police officers, cyber cell officials and experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) rushed to the spot. Searches are being conducted at the spot and evidence is being collected. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

On the other hand, a major road accident took place in Raipur the previous day. Five women lost their lives in the accident while six others were injured. According to information received from the police, the accident took place on the national highway when an SUV car collided with a divider. The collision was so dangerous that the SUV car's wheels flew away. As soon as the collision took place, there was a hue and cry, after which the local people alerted the police.
