Jaipur: On wednesday, 5o people in Kanota area on the city outskirts were taken ill after drinking contaminated water. After receiving information about the incident, a rapid response team was sent to the spot.
The Director (Public Health), Medical and Health department, said, 41 people were given primary treatment and the rest admitted to SMS hospital.
According to him, a round-the clock control room has been set up in all districts to handle such cases.
Chief Medical and Health Officer (Jaipur II) Ravi Sharma said, "Water samples have been collected from Kanota and nearby areas and sent for testing".
