There was no decline in the number of deaths from Covid in Punjab. 19 people have died on Tuesday due to Covid infection in the state. With which the number of people who died of the infection in the state has reached 5117. 409 new cases have also been revealed. So far 161053 people in the state have been infected. According to the Health Department, till now the figure of the suspected case has reached 3558306 in Punjab. In these, 161053 number of positive patients have been registered. 149434 people have been cured. 127 infected patients have been put on oxygen support when breathing becomes difficult. 19 people have been put on a ventilator in critical condition. Ludhiana ranks first in cases of infection deaths. So far, the highest number of 941 people have died due to infection. 608 people died in Jalandhar and 458 in Patiala. 1 patient died in Barnala, 1 in Bathinda, 1 in Fazilka, 1 in Gurdaspur, 3 in Jalandhar, 5 in Ludhiana, 1 in Mansa, 4 in SAS Nagar, 1 in Patiala, 1 in Ropar on Tuesday. 

Covid recovery rate in Haryana is increasing continuously. In the last 24 hours, twice as many patients have been cured of new infections in the state. If 822 new patients were found in the state, then 1680 patients were also cured. 18 more patients died due to this infection. While the condition of 256 patients remains more serious.

One in Gurugram, one in Faridabad, three in Hisar, one in Yamunanagar, one in Sirsa, three in Bhiwani, two in Jhajjar, one in Fatehabad, two in Jind and 3 in Charkhi Dadri have died due to infection. The total number of patients who died is 2751. The total number of infected patients in Haryana now stands at 254207. In which 243224 patients have been cured. 8232 patients still suffer from the infection. The recovery rate from infection has reached 95.68%. The rate of infection has come down to 6.31%. The death rate is stable at 1.08%. Health department has put 269680 patients in medical surveillance as a precautionary measure in the state. Awaiting sample report of 15888 suspected patients.
