Continue our muffins love with 'Scrumptious banana walnut muffins'

The muffins full of bananas and walnuts being healthy and tasty, are best of the lot for kids.

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1 cup castor sugar

2 bananas

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)

1 cup plain flour (maida)

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

3 tbsp milk butter to grease the muffin moulds

Direction:

1. Grease the muffin moulds with butter. Keep aside, preheat the oven to 200 degree C.

2. Sieve the floor with the soda bi-carb, baking powder and salt on a tray. Keep aside.

3. Put the butter in a mixing bowl and stir with a wooden spoon till it is soft and creamy.

4. Add the castor sugar slowly, mixing it well.

5. Peel and chop the bananas, add to butter and sugar mixture and mix well.

6. Add the vanilla essence, the walnuts and sifted flour mixture and mix gently.

7. Add the milk to make a batter-like consistency.

8. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the batter into each greased muffin mould.

9. Place the moulds in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

10. Remove from the oven.
