Karuna Dhawan, Varun Dhawan's mother, gave a Muhurat clap to start shooting. A photo of Karuna has surfaced from the set, in which she appears to be standing for the clapboard. The film is directed by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackie Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The film will be released on May 1, 2020. Apart from Govinda and Karishma in the original film, Kadar Khan was also in the lead role. In the remake, Kadar's role will be played by actor Paresh Rawal. Also, Varun Dhawan will be seen in Street Dancer 3D.
