Bengaluru: A restroom built for guards at a railway station in Karnataka's capital Bengaluru has been rocked by the construction of a place to offer prayers. Hindutva activists have been expressing displeasure over the conversion of public property inside the 'Krantiveera Sangolli Ryana railway station' into a mosque. A video has surfaced in which it is being told how the restroom of the porters has been made a place to pray. This place is on platform number 6 of the KSR railway station.

Recently, a social media user had shared a video of it and demanded that Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav and Indian Railways take action against it. According to reports, a restroom was built at this place for porters of every religion. But 10 years ago, this place was converted into a mosque (a place to pray). After that, people of other religions stopped coming here. Now this place is called Masjid-e-Noorani.

After the video of this mosque went viral, activists of the Hindu Janajagruti Vaidik are protesting against the South Western Railway authorities. During this time, they also reached the mosque on Monday. All Hindu organisations have demanded that this illegal mosque should be closed. At the same time, social media users are also asking how can the railway administration be so careless.
