Coolpad Note 3 Lite is now available in a limited Gold edition variant, is the most affordable smartphone with a fingerprint sensor. Priced at Rs 7,499 the smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon from June 9.

Chinese handset maker Coolpad has announced that it sold 500,000 units of the Note 3 Lite smartphone in India.

Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India said, "To mark the occasion of selling 5 lakh units in less than 6 months, we unveiled the limited gold edition of Note 3 Lite. This new variant is our way of thanking our esteemed customers for the immense support."

Coolpad Note 3 Lite is a dual-SIIM phone that supports 4G LTE on both the SIM cards.

Standard connectivity features includes such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and USB OTG.

On the camera front, it has 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto focus alongside a 5MP front-facing camera, a standard feature on budget handset these days.

Both the front and rear-facing cameras feature CMOS image sensor.

The Note 3 Lite runs on a 2500mAh non-removable battery.
