New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing the National Cooperative Conference on Saturday, strongly praised PM Modi's step. Amit Shah said, "After 75 years of Independence and at a time when the cooperative movement was most needed, the country's PM formed an independent cooperative ministry, I thank him very much on behalf of all of you.'

Amit Shah said cooperatives can contribute immensely to the development of the country. Cooperatives continue to contribute to the development of the country. ''We have to think afresh, re-underline, expand the scope of work, bring transparency.'' He said the cooperative movement is most relevant, so in today's days. The role of co-operation is to enrich every village by connecting each village with co-operatives, enriching each village with the mantra of prosperity from co-operation and then enriching the country.

Shah further said, "Modiji has given a mantra - from co-operation to prosperity. I want to assure Modiji today that the cooperative sector will also push hard to meet your $5 trillion economy.'' Amit Shah further said that the cooperative movement will also improve India's rural society and develop a concept of new social capital. Cooperatives are mixed in the nature of the people of India. Therefore, the cooperative movement in India can never be irrelevant.
