Cops in Mangaluru arrest residents of North East in drug case

The rising cases of drugs in the state of Karnataka has shaken the country. After the infamous Sandalwood drug racket in Bengaluru, now the city of Mangalore has also come under the terror of drug deals and people consuming drugs. Continuing the crackdown on the drug mafia in the Coastal City, Mangaluru police arrested a citizen named Aska (28) a native of Manipur. Following the arrest of the actor-dancer Kishore Aman Shetty and his friend Akeel on Sep 19, the police are tracing the drug chain going on in the city.

Know about the new scandal taking place in Bengaluru

The cops in the cities of Bengaluru and Managalore has become quiet alert after the surging drug cases in the state aftre there has been an increase in the respective cities. The police who are behind the associations of Kishore and his friend, have now arrested Aska who was allegedly working at a spa in the city. She has been accused of consuming drugs. These two girls were arrested up on Monday. Aska has been tested positive for consuming drugs. The police set the other girl free after she tested negative as she didn't consume any sort of drugs.

Police Commissioner Vikash Kumar Vikash told reporters, "We have arrested Aska after she was found positive for consuming narcotic drugs. Her statement has been collected today." The police officials have till now issued notice to her associates too. The investigation has been strengthened after Kishore Aman and his friend were sent to Police custody yesterday. Police are likely to get more details about the drug chain in the coastal region.
