Chandigarh: The corona epidemic has created a hue and cry everywhere, meanwhile, the crisis of child infection in Punjab has increased amid a possible third wave of the corona. This was revealed in a survey conducted by the Centre. According to 30-day data in Punjab, the infection in children has increased at the rate of 9.6 percent and the state is at the top of the transition rate. More cases of infection have been reported in children since the school opened on 2nd August.

More than 40 students have been found infected so far after the opening of the same school in Punjab. More than 20 students of class XI were reported positive in a school in Ludhiana. Thereafter, the school was closed for 14 days. Experts in the country are warning of the third wave of corona infection these days.

Experts say it will be driven by mid-September. The biggest reason for this is that experts are attributing the festive season and the complete opening of schools. Schools have also been opened in Punjab from 2nd August. The risk of infection in school children has increased. A recent survey was conducted by the Centre to protect children from infection, which revealed that cases of infection in children have been increasing rapidly in the last few days in Punjab.
